Here is my all origional 1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Town Sedan. It retains its origional 206.8 straight 6 with a whopping 79 hp and a wheelbase of 113" with the knee action front end suspension. The interior is the origional Mohair. everything is intact. It has almost all the options on it that were available in 1936. Here is a list of them. (we take most of these thing for granted today)
in 1936 These were options at an additional cost. Denman white wall tires sized 5.50 x 17" Looking for a set of rear fender tire skirts the Master Hood ornament.($3.75) a passenger side wiper blade.($3.85) a passenger side sun visor.(($2.25) a passenger side brake light.($3.00) a Hull streamline auto compass($4.75) a grill insect screen.($1.50) a Heat Master heater.($14.95) a set of 5 bumper guards.($3.45)set licence plate frames.($2.45) pair a rear window defroster.($3.00) fog lights.($5.50 ea) a Trico vaccume window defroster.($4.50) a cats eye cigar lighter.($3.00) a cigar snuffer. (ashtray)($1.00) a dome light.($4.95) Headlight indicator.($1.00) a 5 tube Delco radio.($49.50) Onyxoid horn button ($0.50) Onyxoid shift ball ($0.50) Emergency Brake extention handle ($1.50) Town & Country Trumpet horns ($9.50) Pines winter grill cover($11.75) a set of 5 Logo hubcaps.($9.95) a set of 5 - 17" trim rings. ($6.75) Set of 2 front Fender marker lights($2.50) Turn signals were dealer added in 1939
an Turret top all steel roof and the paint is the first year that Chevrolet used metallic paint.- the color is Tampa Metallic code # 202
For being 72 yrs old "Betsy" cruises along nicely at 50mph but I like 35mph.
Brand New this car without all the options was $675.00.
