I made this page about my 69 firebird and what's done to it.
Page 1: A description of my car and what's done to it
Page 2: This page is a helpful guide for getting started on dropping an lt1 into a first generation firebird/camaro (67-69)

Previous combo
The previous engine was a 406 ci poncho. The engine was .030 over, TRW forged pistons, R/A III cam, #16 heads, 1 3/4 headers, comp magnum 1.5 roller tip rockers, Edelbrock performer RPM intake with a holley 750 carb and holley fuel pump. I also converted it to HEI and have a mini starter. I bought a crower 60210 cam (229/239 .480/.501 with 1.5 rockers) for it and was going to order a set of ported #16's. I never got around to doing this though...

New combo
I found a Completely rebuilt ZERO mile 355 (.030 over) LT1 from a 94 impala with fuel injection. It was complete and had the harness etc so I bit the bullet and bought it. The engine is outfitted with .030 over pistons, TPIS ZZ9 cam (212/226 .515/.555 w/1.6 rockers), iron heads with a 3 angle vavle job, Crane gold 1.6 full roller rockers. Supporting mods are 1 5/8 long tube headers, home made cold air, electric fan (automatic/manual control), 2.5" dual exhaust, tci flexplate,B&M shifter, BOP TH350 trans (I used tranny adapter to make it fit the LT1 chevy), 8.2" 10 bolt with 3.55 posi.An MSD inline pump supplies the fuel. Ralley 2 wheels.

Future Mods/NewsThe car is SOLD! Gonna miss it!
