Here's the basics:
1962 Oldmobile Cutlass F85, 215 Aluminum V8 185hp, 4 barrel, hydramatic trans, 2 door, manual steering and brakes, Blue exterior and interior, front bucket seats, lap belts installed, center console, 112,230 miles, well maintained, always garaged, am/fm/cassette, alarm, good original condition.

Original price around $2,300.00 bought new by my wife's uncle Joe. Her father then purchased the car in the late 60's from Joe. 20 years later he had it repainted at Maaco in May of 1988 for just under $1000. Keeping the car "in the family" I assumed ownership in July of 1993 after my father in law passed. Since then I've done some tuning, maintenance, and cleaning but mostly kept it safely tucked away in storage taking it out only as a treat.
One thing for sure is you don't see one of these every day driving around. Rumor is most F85's had the aluminum engines pulled out during the 70's for Vega V8 swaps. It does not have the turbo, but it's just as well due to the "notorious" maintenance issues. You can tell the turbo cars (aka Jetfire) by the 2 chrome strips on the hood, this car has one. No matter really because between the four barrel carb and the low gearing this "torquey" little car can move.
