Back Ground I bought my 1983 Firebird T/A for $1000 dollars from a guy with two more trans ams. He has a 1979 silver edition and a 2000 WS6 Convertible. With the car he gave me a 1973 chevy 350 to put in b/c the 305 engine had a severe knock (most likely a connecting rod bearing). The 350 went from a 1973 camaro, to a 1979 Silver Edition T/A (his) to my 1983 T/A. It has been beat on for nothing short of 32 years. It ran poorly after i had it for a short time and we found out has many problems. The body on my car has some moderate to heavy rust and damage. The interior is very damaged with nearly every thing worn or broken. This is going to be fun to Rebuild this car from top to bottom
Body The body leaves something to be desired but can be repaired. here are some candid shots of my body

thanks for taking the time to write me a message. i dont see why people hate on other people's cars. they're entitled to drive whatever they wish. your attitude is the reason why so many of us import fans hate cars like your old bucket of rust. you will probally end up spending more money fixing that ugly thing than i will spend on my D A I L Y D R I V E R and with gas prices being so high, it's just ridiculous own a gas hog. dont get me wrong, i have respect for the 'american muscle', but i just couldnt see myself driving one, it's just not my taste. hopefully you will come to realize that there's a lot of different cars and different tastes for cars. i have my own and you have yours. so respect other peoples opinions. later.
