I bought myself a 1989 Chevy Camaro RS 2.8L
I keep it updated (07-16-08) I am 19 years old.
Engine & Trans:
· 355 V8 (late 60's early 70's Block) 4-bolt mains.
· Edelbrock 4 barrel carb 600cfm
· Headers
· 2 1/2" Y-pipe to 3" single exhaust pipe all way back to a dual outlet 3" muffler, Chrome tips, very noisy, I won four muffler rapps with it and pulled over twice, very very loud.
· Frame ties
· 5-speed man, out of 84' camaro
. Posi rear-end out of 89' Trans Am, 327
Interior:
· Everything stock, except trio-gauges, and aftermarket stereo equipment
· Air conditioning was removed for weight.
· Mechanical Gauges
Sound System:
· Pioneer 3900, 4 speakers, 2-?? 4x6's, 2- Kenwood 6x9's
· One 500 Watt MTX amp for two MTX 4500 10" Subwoofers + One 1400 Watt Pyle amp for two 15" JL Audio Subwoofers.. Kicks ASS
· Custom box
Wheels, etc:
· Raised All the way round bout an inch
· Chrome Wheels 15x7, 15x10
· Monroe gas shocks
Paint:
· Tri color +, House of Kolor.
Only paid $800 for this car. There was minor body work to do to it. It also only had 89,000 miles on it. Awsome right?
I Used:
5-speed trans out of it,
used all motor brakets and mounts,
used rear disc brakes off of it,
kept everthing else good off it in attic,
scraped the car for $140,
Made out great if u ask me,
