In these pics I have removed the sub frame (K frame), the wiring harness, and a few other odds and ends.


Now for the good stuff! I have started cleaning.

In the following pictures I have sprayed rubberized undercoating on the firewall and on the bottom side of the floor pans. I have also begun primering the rest of the engine bay.


Update 3/4/06:
Today I made some good progress. I finished priming the engine bay. After that I painted it. I used 500* Gloss Black Engine Enamel with ceramic. It should prove to be a durable finish.




I also cleaned the wheel wells and sprayed rubberized undercoating on the inner wells and on the plastic splash shields.


I got up in the strut towers too.

I also cleaned the k-frame, then primer and painted it also. Is used the Glossy black engine enamel for this too.

Then I bolted the new steering rack to it.
