Bought my 94 1.8L (Lil' MOFO) in 2004 right before summer. I'm the 3rd owner. He was originally a Canadian Miata imported and sold in America apparently to a soldier. The soldier was stationed in Germany and he brought the car with him. Swedish guy bought and imported the car to Sweden around 2000 and drove him for about 3 years, then I bought it off him. Got the bike for a song...incl hardtop and set of winter tires mounted on 3 spoke Aztecs.

Car is pretty much stock except for Eibachs and 17" TSW's he had mounted on the car. MOFO looked like this when I bought him:

I sold off the TSW's (They weighed almost 40lbs per corner incl tires!) for something a bit more performance oriented. Bought Kosei K1-TS 15x7 wheels with Toyo 195/50's from a great guy, Karl @ http://www.mx5mad.com

The lightweight K1's make a world of diff. They weigh in around 29lbs per corner incl. tires. Thankfully the prev owner didn't have the heavy TSW's mounted very long so I don't think my bushings up front took such a beating.

Mods:
Motor
- new plugs/wires/oil cap...general clean up
Drivetrain - Replaced upper & lower shift boots
- Replaced tower shift fluid
- Replaced gearbox & diff fluid
Chasis - KYB 8way adjustable shocks front & rear
- Drilled & slotted discs
- Green stuff EBC pads
- Kosei K1 TS 15x7's w/ Toyo's
Interior - Sparco Lap 5 wheel
- Chrome shifter knob
- RAID chrome pedals
- Chrome e-brake handle & button
- Leather e-brake boot
- Chrome sills

In the garage I have the following awaiting install:
- Steel brakelines
- Caliper paint to pretty them up
- "Wisdom" front spoiler
- JDM tow hooks front & rear
- Glass beaded 323 valve cover

Things I'd like to buy/install this season:
- Hard Dog stainless steel rollbar
- JR header
- Cat bypass
- Borla Exhaust/midpipe
- Good-win Monster Flow Intake

This combo should give me a couple horses to get thru the summer.

Dream...MP62 SC with intercooler. 8)

Newly installed KYB 8way adjustable shocks. (Excuse the filth as it was nasty weather last night on it's maiden voyage on his new legs) Night and day diff from what it was like on the old stockers. Had them on the out of the box setting, 4 all around. Have since changed it to 6 front 5 rear. Ride is noticably stiffer, however my ride to work is fast, smooth sweepers so I find this setting optimal.
