1980 280ZX. Originaly gold in color. Purchased with 208,000 miles on original motor. Had minor body damage and rust, and was completly stock.
Upgrades include: complete body makeover, paint, 18" wheels and tires, upgraded brake system with slotted rotors, steel braided lines, new calipers, master cylinder, Upgraded suspension with KYB struts, Custom lowering springs, Polyuerathane bushings, New ball joints, tie rod ends, Idler arm, Custom billet bumpsteer spacers, Centerforce II clutch,Cold air intake, Custom 2.5" exhaust from header back (custom header)W/Oversized three way Cat, Interior upgraded to all black with red accent, Hand made aluminum stereo backing plate, Kenwood CD system with 1000 watt amp pushing 2 Polk Audio 10" subs (also 2 Polk Audio 6.5" threeway's).
Car was STOLEN and pretty much trashed in October 2004. Had to replace Wheels, Tires, Stereo, replace right front fender, and re-paint (again). Now has SERIOUS anti-theft system. Plans for future upgrades include: Turbo swap, Strut bars front and rear, Body kit with front air dam, side skirts, rear valance and subtle rear wing.
As of September 2006, this car has now been HIT 5 times while sitting still! The last one in May was the worst when I was rear ended at a stop sign by a hit and run driver who turned out to be an illegal alien with no license or insurance. Both myself and the car sustained injury. The 4 previous hits were minor but did enough damage to really suck.
Update: Slow going on any new upgrades... I can't seem to keep people from hitting my car long enough to get much done. At the moment, it's daily driver status has been revoked so I can get to work on fixing it some more. New 18" wheels look good though!
