March 11, 2007- WOW! i havent been on here in awhile, and i doubt anyone else looks at this anymore then i do, but here is an update anyways..... Well first of all last october my truck was egged actually it was on halloween night, but someone got both sides of my truck on the bed, and basically ruined my pinstripping, my dad bought new pinstripping but we havent repaired it yet, also i painted my grill black, and i must say it looks pretty good, if there is anyone out there that is looking for a cheap and easy way to mod your truck, paint the grill black, it looks pretty great, it costed me $1.98 for the spray paint and took about 30 minutes to paint my truck has very little black on it and has alot of chrome, so you would think that the black grille wouldnt go well with it, but it really does it looks clean and proffesionally done. i recommend it to anyone!

june 12 06- few night ago i took the truck out to the midnight drags for the first time,i made 3 passes but i only know one of the times for sure since they werent giving out timeslips, and my buddy that was with me was only paying close attention to the last pass, but he said i ran a somewhere in the 16's my second pass, and on my last pass i got 17.23 at approximately 75mph. but we are going out next weekend, and this time ive lightened up the load by takeing out my spare tire, my center console, carpet, tire jack, and all the other crap i dont need, i also took off some belts under the hood that i dont need, so hopefully i can tell a difference next week.
This here is my 1986 ford f-150 styleside, it has a 302 V8 in it. It was first bought by my great uncle new in 1986 and he drove it until the mid-90's and after that it pretty much set in his garage until about 2001 when he gave it to his son, who is the one who has done most of the current mods. He owned it until the fall of 2004 at which time I bought it. Now this truck is a jewel it has the original paint job which still looks great and believe it or not has only 49,000 original miles.

the following are the modifications that have been made:

dual exhaust (no mufflers pretty loud!), chrome wheels,

wide rear tires, lowered the rear end 2 inches, put carpet in the cab,
DUAL sound system (never heard of it? neither have I.) including headunit and two 9 inch speakers behind the seat in custom wood boxes(pictures on next page),

chrome westin running boards, an ooga horn, a custom center console made of wood that matches the speaker boxes.
