Ive been doing a little engine work. Im doing this slow because it is my first "tear down" and I want to make sure all my I's are dotted and T's are crossed.
Just as a referance, this is what it looked like when I started...

I have most of the stuff off the Pass side...

I ran into a problem with the driver side. I need a pulley puller to get the PS pulley off to get the exhaust manifold off...

I got the engine as far as I want to get it in the engine bay. All I really need to do now is drain the fluids, unhook the tranny parts, and pull it out. Here is a couple pics of my progress...

Well I decided, while I wait for my engine stand, that I'll take off the valve covers. So here is some pics of the engine with the valve covers off...

Havent updated in a while...Got a bunch of stuff done in the last week and a half.
I got out the radiator to make the engine pull easier...

Got the engine pulled out...

Got the engine/tranny seperated and put the engine on the stand...

And I got the intake and cylinder heads off...
-----------------------------------
Started taking the engine apart. Got the oil pan off...
Got the pistons and crank out.......
And gave the block a little bath......

I got my engine hone and finally had time to hone out the cylinders......
Still waiting for some parts to come in. This part of the process seems to be kinda slow.

Havent done much lately...cleaned parts, made plans, saved money for the more expensive parts that I still need.
Put together my new heads and intake to see what it looked like with the new parts...
I got in my new pistons, and I need to bet my block bored .020 now...
