Another 68MustangHCS 1968 Ford Mustang post...
I flew out of Raliegh, North Carolina to Newark, New Jersey and drove this all original sweet 68 HCS back to it's new home.
This car is my newest High Country Special, purchased from Tony Guerriero out of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. A few years ago, Tony traded a 67 Shelby convertable clone and some cash for it to Chris Ward, a state trooper out of Southington, Connecticut. I'm not sure of any other owners, but I'll try to get those details and post them as I get them.
This car was built in San Jose, California on the same day as my other HCS, 20 June 1968. This car was a stock dealer order shipped to the Denver District DSO 51 on 22 June 1968 and sold by Frontier Motors Inc., Rapid City, South Dakota on 27 September 1968. It has a 289 4v, it's Meadowlark Yellow with Saddle bucket seats, stock manual transmission.
