My next mod was to install a set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs. They lowered the car 1.1". I didn't want to slam it or anything, and I didn't want it to ride too rough, so I went pretty tame with the suspension set-up. It looks just right, and it still rides pretty smooth. These are progressive rate springs, so it doesn't ride rough, even with the 35 series tires.
This is the Porsche big brake kit I am planning on putting on my TT. It is going to be incredible! The rotors are 2-piece, slotted and cross-drilled 13.1" with light-weight aluminum hats. These are clamped by 4-piston aluminum monobloc Porsche calipers, connected to braided stainles steel brake lines. Despite being larger and more effective (not to mention better looking!), this setup is actually lighter than the stock brakes! I am a brake-freak! When most people check out a car, their first question is "how much horsepower?" or "what kind of stereo you got in that thing?" my first question: "How big are the brakes? Does it have multi-piston calipers?" I don't know why I have developed this fascination, but I love brakes! Now don't get me wrong, I love horsepower too. That is probably my second question though ;-)
This is my engine: 1.8 Turbo, 225 Horsepower
