i just started this page to show my progress. Im starting work on a 96 black jetta gl. i plan on swappin a supercharged 2.0 instead of a vr6 i originally planned on cause it just seems more practical for a daily driver. also im seting it up for auto cross so the 220 hp ill get outa the 2.0 will be plenty. i want oversized fuel injectors, full custom 2.5in exhuast w tenzo r muffler, je drop forged low compression pistons 9.1, msd ignition box, possibly new stronger rods, performance cams, titanium valves, high perf valve springs and retainers, bahn and brenner remapped ecu, eibach pro kit springs(drop 1.4 in),kyb gas struts in the rear, tokico 5 way adjustables in the front, neuspeed fr strut brace, cars n effects custom rear strut brace, possibly autotech lower fr strut brace, eibach fr and rear sways 25/28mm, axis 18in wheels on 215/35/r18's, rs front bumber (r32 similar look for the mk3), glx rear lights, mk4 style front lights w badgless grill and golf hood, painted black, tinted windows, race seats but idk what kind, new carpet, reappolstered black back seat, plain metal pedal covers, leather shift knob, stainless ebrake handle, poineer EHP8600MP organic color display headunit, 860watt kole audio speaker amp, 2400watt audiobahn sub amp, 3x12" aluminum cone audiobahn subs, custom boxes, 2 pair 6.5" audiobahn components, 1 pair 4" audiobahn components. im hopin to have it all done by end of next school yr and i will have pictures as i upgrade.
