The disassembly begins... Totally gut and remove every usable part on the '87. Anything that made it a VR. Plus a few more! Everything needed to convert from column to a floor shift. Tach. Replacement parts...everything. I cut the pieces I needed to fix the rust on the '88 from the same places from the '87! They were protected by the ground effects, and in perfect shape. But the rest of the car was a rust bucket. My foot went thru both floorboards. When I'm done with it, it'll just be a '87 Celebrity carcass.....but the motor and transmission are all good. Don't ask....the carcass has been spoken for...!......

yea bruh im still keepin it alive,im goin to paint her over maybe next summer,im also rebuilding mi engine,i might put in the 3.1 or just redo mine over,i have 179,000 mile org on her and still no problem,but shes do for a treat.ur vr still looks good.keep up the good work bruh.

Congrats on such an awesome Celebrity! I'm glad someone out there is preserving these cars. They usually end up in demo derby's and crushers. :( 5 stars!
