In the light of day...
Here it is in the daylight. It still needs to cure for 2 days before the final sanding and buffing take place. The rest of the parts will follow soon. They will be easier to paint, as nothing else needs to be masked off.
Its BLACK. Wow, I'm amazed....This is my first experience with a complete paint job, done the right way. I've been around it for years, but never wanted any part of it. I'd rather pull the cylinder heads and replace the transmission. Its a lot easier! This has been, and will yet to be, a lot of work. But its going the right way now!
Next will be installation of the drip edge at the top of the doors, then the rear opera windows. After those are in, then the re-assembly of the interior can start. I want to get that done first, and get the windows and doors back together.
Stay tuned......................NOW go take my poll!
