Well, here it is in all its not-so-faded glory! Well...was...it's been sitting in my garage for the last 3 years beggin' for a V8, I'm just a little short on the financial side.

I guess I really shoulda vacuumed before I shot this! Anyway, the dash is a custom stainless piece made by my brother at Southern SheetMetal Works of Tulsa. This pic was taken about 2 or 3 months after I had the interior redone in a 1987 F150 pattern.

And there it sits...the beast...the heart of the animal...the 229cid V6! It's got an aftermarket cam, it's .030 overbored and the heads have .060 cut off 'em givin' it about 9.6 to one as opposed to the original 8 to 1. It won't win all the races, but it won some...heck, the car's only 2350lbs. with me in it and I'm 180!
