This is my '73 Dodge Challenger, which as you can see, is currently undergoing a complete restoration. I bought it nearly three years ago at 17 and have been restoring it since then. It was originally dark metallic green F-8 with a green interior and original 318/904, but I am painting it Plum Crazy FC-7 with a white interior and I've purchased a 340/727 to replace the original engine and trans. I plan on following an older build up Mopar Muscle did on a 340 where they pulled out around 477 horsepower from a naturally aspirated engine. I hope to be able to mimic their build up with an excess of 450 hp, but I won't know until I dive into that part of the restoration and build my 340. I'm hoping to have it done by 2007, but only time will tell if that holds true. For those interested in the engine specs, I'll post a summary of the build-up when I get the chance.

Here the new sheetmetal and donor pieces are grafted onto the car.

That Challenger will be a very nice car when you get it together! I love plum crazy! It's the manliest purple there is...hell, I'd even rock any Mopar with panther pink...as long as it's a true Mopar color :) Keep up the sweet work!
