Hey this is my 1979 Chevy 'big 10' bonanza 'BAD TO THE BONE'
this is what it looked like when i first bought it in summer of 2001
the exterior
and the interior
the motor- 305 cu in with a 3 speed saginaw manual tranny
Changing the transmission from the saginaw to a built turbo 400 with a manuel valve body and 3500 stall converter and a tci fly wheel/b&m cool pan/lake wood taction bars custom cross member for tranny/driv shaft loop
restoring the interior and changing it to black with autometer gages and wood grain bezel and insert and a b&m mega shifter with line lock shifter knob for theline lock
the motor- before and after removing it to make room for the 454
installing 'the big rat' 454

installed over winter of 05 new hooker supercomp headers/roller lifters/comp cam with a 296 duration and 748 lift/jesel push rods/isky springs/pete jackson gear drive/high volume oil pump/9 quart moroso oil pan/msd pro billet hei distributor/msd 6a box/march pullies
I now have a 454 c.i. motor, demon carb, the same built turbo 400 auto tranny, same rear end, cragar ss mags, mickey thompson tires
i lowered the truck, redid the interior and thru in a competition engineering roll cage
some day i plan on dumping about 20000 dollars or more into it for a 526 alcohol burning hemi pushing around 1200hp and tubbing the rear with a dana axle and a lenco tranny and fiberglass tilt nose and bed and a whole lot more to pull my 8 second range in the 1/4 mile
Oh this is me- senior year high school
Test and tune day at the drags with new 5.13 gears new carb and trans brake
Then found out that defective gears couldnt withstand a 4800 rpm luanch off the line and took 26 teeth off
took the bell housing off as well as the gears richmond helped out with the damages
This is the drag truck in sring of 2006 all repainted with a sick checkerd flag sceem by my awsome father and the 454 all done up
New harwood aero scoop 13.5 tall to clear the tall 454
New 1100 dominator carb msd ignition system and ton of mods

After the nationals we had some fun of our own in the yard as you can see it re paves dam good also seels it

earlier that morning was runing 11.21 all day until the third round after putting $5000 into the new rear end and tranny
The new donner for undertaker a 366 tall deck not much but for now heres the drag truck in peices getin ready for black with gravedigger green flames and red headlights
Tons of mods over the winter of 06/07 the UNDERTAKER new paint green flames and alot more got new 468 BBC for her and will have more pics soon but as you can see its gonna be evil new custom harwood lift off hood aero on top of 4'cowl total of 18.5 inches tall big but works and looks sweet
