Finally got started making the engine bay look better. Wire hiding, Powder Coating, chrome bolts and brackets on the way, and some other goodies in the process.

Here we have pics of the accessory brackets that I had powder coated a nice metallic grey. I will have all the accessories done in gloss black to make a nice compliment to the color.

Next we have the alternator case, new high flow water pump, and the power steering pump. The alternator will soon be replaced with a 3G upgrade in gloss black, but until then I could not have it look terrible with all the new shiny parts. I have some sanding and clearing to do yet, but you get the idea.

Next up a new Pioneer harmonic dampener. I had the engine apart this far, and the factory unit was looking kinda shabby, so we replaced it. I put a few coats of clear on this puppy to keep it from rusting over any time soon.

Also did a little wire hiding while I was at it. Got sick of looking at Fords mess under the hood. Now I just need to get the wholes filled, and have it painted to match the car.

Here it is. Before and after pics of the engine compartment with powder coating and chrome. Still not done yet. I am waiting on the new alternator I just ordered from PA performance, and the power steering, idler, and tensioner pullys coming from wazee. They should go well with the chrome pulleys I already have installed.

She still needs to be cleaned up a little. I will post more pics when she is cleaned up. Just thought I would get out what was done already........

Awesome car. Last year of the 5.0? Very cool. That's the longer list of mods I've seen, dude. I didn't realize the production numbers were so low that year. 5 Stars!
Check out my 07' sometime.
