blew the tranny in early january got one lined up tho replaced the feders and fron clip and added a pretty hanous cowl but hey it mine and i like it hope yall do too as usual i will add a new page with the new pics however its a lil difficult to take pics of a car in arkansas from iraq so i will have to do it when i return in june-july

FINALY BROKE THE FIRST 500 MILES YESTERDAY IT RUNS SO NICE STILL GOT A LITTLE TUNE WORK BUT NOT ALOT JUST ONE LIFTER TIC AND THAT SEEMS TO ONLY BE FROM ABOUT 1K TO 2K RPM SO I HAVE TO GET THAT WORKED OUT GETTIN ABOUT 8.5 MPG AROUND TOWN THOSE 2.73 GEARS IN THE BACK SUCK BUT HIGHWAY HAULS ASS AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE ABOVE VID I JUST KINDA TRIED TO LET IT CREEP ON UP AND I KNOW IT HAD MORE BUT THOSE GEARS GOTA GET SWAPPED BEFORE IT WILL SHOW ANY REAL BALLS....

GOING WITH 882 BIG VALVE HEADS AND ALL THE ORIGINALS I PULLED OFF MY INTAKE CARB DISTRIBUTOR EXHAUST YA KNOW HOPEFULLY I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THE REST OF MY PARTS WITH MY TAX RETURN NEED A NEW CRANK CUZ A 2BOLT BLOCK WONT TAKE A 4 BOLT CRANK AND ALL THE ACCESSORIES NEW FLYWHEEL AND HARMONIC BALANCER...

THIS IS A HEARTBREAKER SO AS I DID MY TEARDOWN TO GET MY SALVAGEABLE PARTS OUT THIS IS WHAT I FIND 350 BORED .060 4BOLT MAIN ROLLER BLOCK AND THE BITCH IS CRACKED APPEARENTLY 305 HEADS ON A BORED MOTOR MAKE AWSOME TORQUE BUT THOSE TINY VALVES SUCK 1.75/1.5...
... BREAKING NEWS.... THE BEAST IS DEAD.... AUG 4 2007....
SO APPEARANLY I HAD AT LEAST ONE BLOWN HEAD GASKET THAT I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT (I KNOW.. HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT A BLOWN HEAD GASKET YOU DUMMY) WELL IT BLEW OUT BETWEEN THE #3 AND 5 CYLINDERS BUT NOT AT ANY WATER JACKETS SO I NEVER HAD ANY SIGNS EXCEPT MINOR POWER LOSS AND A SOUND LIKE A MINOR LOPE IN THE CAM AS IT WOULD CROSS FIRE BETWEEN THEM. SO LONG STORY SHORT CROSS FIRE LEAD TO WEARING OUT OF DECK AND HEAD MATING SUFACES WHICH LEAD TO A CRACKED HEAD BUT ONLY BETWEEN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBERS NO COOLANT LEAKS AND A CRACK ACROSS THE DECK AND DOWN INTO #3 CYLINDER WALL.. SO HERE WE GO NEW BLOCK AT MACHINE SHOP NOW PICK IT UP MONDAY NEW HEADS FROM A CHEVY 400 SB FROM A BUDDY AND A RE-RING KIT LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT HAVE ABOUT A 400HP MOTOR FOR $700... DADDY LIKE....

GUESS I SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT AHEAD.. I FUCKED UP... WAS AJDUSTING MY VALVES AND DIDN'T TAKE THE BREATHER STUD OUT OF MY CARB..(IT WAS A TWO PIECE) ANYWAY THE DAMN THING VIBRATED APART AND ONE OF THE SMALL ASS JAMNUTS FELL INTO THE CARB WITHOUT MY KNOWNG. I CRANKED IT UP AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I HEARD SOMETHING BOUNCIN AROUND INSIDE AND WHEN I LOOKED I REALIZED IT WAS GONE. SHUT THE MOTOR DOWN AS SOON AS I HEARD THE NOISE SO HOPEFULLY NOT TOO MUCH DAMAGE MAYBE I LUCKED OUT AND JUST GOTTA PULL THE HEAD AND TAKE IT OUT WILL DEF POST PICS....

WELL, WHAT LITTLE WINTER WEATHER WE HAVE DOWN HERE IN ARKANSAS TEAMED UP WITH 20 YEARS OF RUST AND I BROKE MY FORWARD SWAY BAR SNAPPED IT RIGHT AT MY RIGHT FRAME BUSHING NEW ONE IS GONNA GOST BOUT $110 SO THATS NOT TOO BAD LORD KNOWS IM NOT PUTTIN A USED ONE ON NO TELLING WHAT ITS BEEN THROUGH

AND NOW THE FINAL PROOF AS TO WHAT MOTOR I HAVE IN THE BEAST I WAS TOLD I HAD A 350 IN IT BUT WAS NEVER SURE UNTIL NOW I DONT THINK IT COULD BE MORE CLEAR THAN THIS
