i got the same blazer as you do. look at mine and maybe it will give you the support you need to lift instead of lower. how many lifted 4 door blazers do you see in town. none! thats why i like mine so much. i know people that have lowered 4x4's and others that lift 2 wheel drives. personally, it don't make sense to me. the only plus i can see in lowering a 4x4 is if u get stuck on a speed bump you can lock it in and get off. you can only go so low until you hit the ground, but when you lift it, the sky is the limit. hey i might have to use that as my quote.

Lift it since its a 4x4. It wouldnt make much sense to lower it...

i stuck with the original ifs. it rides good and theres nothing wrong with it. the only way i would straight axle is if i did too much damage to the ifs that it would be cheaper to go that route. the only problems ive had is some popping in the cv axles because my torsions were a little too high. i just had 2 new cv axles put in for the fact that 1 of them had a rip in it because they are the originals and were both dry rotted. figured is was worth just gettin 2 new ones.
