Also, look what followed me home! A T5 BorgWarner 5 speed manual trans complete with bellhousing, block plate, clutch fork and a nice B&M performance shifter. Turns out the T5 trans install is a common upgrade for old Mustangs and with the addition of a new trans mounting crossmember, the T5 can be bolted right in! I'll be adding a cable clutch set-up because we're going to install power brakes and the booster would be in the way for the stock clutch linkage. Luckily they also make a complete resto-mod kit for this.
