Here she is, we pulled it out of my brother's junkyard on February 26, 2005. After six hours of tune ups and brake inspections we were crusing! Amazing seeing as it sat for two or three years in the yard. Basic idea for the wagon is a cool car me and my roommates can drive around and not have to worry about it getting damaged like my Newport or Artie's Porsche . As soon as possible we will do a little body work and shoot it black, flat black probably cause it hides more flaws. Then we will add a nice coat of flames, lots of flames, on the hood, down the sides, on the roof, and don't forget the tailgate.

Personally I think a large set of sidepipes would look really nice.

If I can find a set of adapters 5 on 4.5 for dayton wires, we've got a set to put on it.

********UPDATE********
On the one week anniversary of pulling it out of the junkyard, we decided to take an overnight trip to Wittenberg University in Springfield Ohio, which is about 50 minutes away. On the way we decided the Sears brand tires might not make it, so we pulled into a Wal-Mart tire center just before closing and had them mount their cheapest tire on the spare. We figured if we didn't have a good spare we would get a flat for sure! To make a long story short we saw an old boat about the same vintage on a trailer in the parking lot of a Domino's pizza. It was dark so we decide to stop on our way back through to pose with it. And the hilarity ensued.

By the way seven people fit pretty comfotably in the wagon even if it doesn't have the extra seats way in the back!!!
More pictures comming soon!!
Especially when it gets painted flat black with flames.

Unfortunatly the transmision seems to have major problems. When I was driving it one night, it shifted into second gear and also tried to engage reverse at the same time. I don't know much about the internals of automatic transmisions but, I figured a filter/fluid change couldn't hurt. Also while I had it apart a shift kit would be easy to install. After all that work I got it back together and I still have the same problems. If anyone knows what the problem might be please let me know. As of now the solution seems to either replace it with another C6 or possibly throw a manual tranny behind the 390.
Since the car was at the garage and I had the adapters to install the Dayton wire wheels, it had to be done. Even though the car can't be driven I put on the wheels. Wow I can't believe how perfect they fit, the wheels were on my buddy's dad's cutlass and couldn't fit better on the wagon. The rears tuck up inside the fender like they were made to go on it. Anyway I can't wait to solve the transmission problems so I can drive it with the daytons on it.
