The car had pretty bad rust on all four corners. I cut it all out and welded new stuff in and did the rough body work. My grandpa did the final bodywork and prep and paint. At 75 years old he got the body near perfect. The original trim was garbage so initially I decided I would go without the trim and welded up the holes. I have since changed my mind. I bought new trim and will add it this summer.

The car currently has the 350 Olds removed and is awaiting the new 10.8:1 425 BBO with a solid lifter Ultradyne cam and ported Edelbrock aluminum heads by Greg's Performance. Intake flow should be around 300 cfm and exhaust should be around 215 cfm. Cam specs are 238-244 @ 0.050" and 0.544"-0.555" on a 108 LSA.
Other engine parts are an Edelbrock dual plane intake, Harland Sharp roller rockers and Kooks 2" headers with 3.5" collectors. Carburetion will be with a modified 750 Quadrajet.
Also, I rebuilt an M-22 to handle the additional power that replaced the original M-20. The car has an 8.5" GM 10 bolt with 4.10 gears and an Eaton Posi Unit.
The M-22. It's not pretty but its got good internals.

This is the car as it sits now. An empty engine compartment.

Wheels are ARE Torque Thrust. 235 60r15 tires are in the front with 295 50r15's in the back. The 295's did not hook even with the small block so I am looking at some chassis tuning to get better bite since I will have substantially more power with this mill.
