IN STORAGE UNTILL I GET OUT OF THE ARMY

"GREY GHOST"

This is my 1978 Ford LTD landau that i got as my first car. It is pretty much stock other than the few engine upgrades like intake, carb, and cam. Lowered the car 2-3 inches Installed a 10" Rockford Fosgate punch and a custom 2.5" vortex exhaust.
My great-grandmother and my great-grand father bought this car new in 1978. They drove it for many years and took great care of it. They even had it repainted once. They used the car to drive from their summer home in Barker, New York to their winter home in Lakeland, Florda(this car has miles on it at over 153,000). Once my grand moter was unable to drive anymore because of her sight she gave the car to my father in about 1993. He drove it as his summer car for many years(yes that means this car has never seen snow), but once he got his new F150 Supercrew he just drove it less. So when i got my lisence in 2004 he gave me the "GREY GHOST"!!
BEFORE & AFTER SHOTS

This thing rides like a dream it feals like your riding on air and it only gets better with speed, just dont take it into a turn with too much speed because it still weighs over 2 tons. As for power it has a Ford 400 V8 and a ford 9" rear end with 300 gears.
I reciently had my baby repainted with a GM STORM GREY and a matching grey vinal top. I had the car painted out or turned stealth painting almost all of the crome other than a few choice pieces. I put on a set of Cragars Keystone Klassic in 15x8 with Mastercraft Avenger G/T rubbers sized at 245/60/R15
My next task is to put 35% window tint on the windows. I also will be replacing the stock carpet with a new one in black i have just ordered the carpet will be puting it in once it gets here.
