UPDATE6/20/05: I just bought a new cab and front clip for the truck, the old one wasnt bad but the cab corners were rusty and I don't want to deal with rust.

UPDATE6/21/05: I got a set of the long Cadillac tail lights to put into the fenders of the stepside bed I am still looking for.

OH that's just a ding
FROM A TELEPHONE POLE !!!

So one night i was driving over to my girlfriend's when i hit some black ice and slid into the left lane where i found myself looking into some guys headlights (prob scared the sh!t out of him)so i crank it back into the right lane and almost go off the road into the ditch on the right side so i crank the wheel to the left and slide sideways across both lanes into a ditch and into a telephone pole (which was about 2 ft from a gas main) bounced off kept going up out of the ditch and back onto the road without stopping.

The truck
When i drove her home like i had just got it alligned. The chassis is perfect (like a rock). And of course there is the telephone pole shaped dent that we tried to pull out as best as we could with my dad's truck. Oh well i wanted to get a stepside anyway now i have a good reason.

The pole
It has a huge GM blaze red paint mark on it that doesnt seem like its going away anytime soon, and it is kinda at an angle but other wise it is still standing and it seems to be ok.

Me
I got away with a stiff neck(thank god i don't have airbags or else i might have gotten a broken nose). I made out pretty well, God was with me.

This is basicaly the look i am going for just with a 6in cowl induction hood and black paint with flames.

Ive got the stepside bed on the way from California. (guy pulled out on the deal at the last minute so ill be looking for another bed)
