This is my Chevelle, my first and only car. I bought it for $4000 the summer after I turned 16. Formerly had a 350sbc and a 700r4 overdrive transmission and was pulling 23 mpg on the highway. But I decided to go a new route...read more below.
The new drive train consists of a 1998 LS1 346ci 5.7liter from a camaro. Details are on the next page.
This combo will allow me to get close to the 400 rear wheel hp mark, but keep the MPG up so I can still afford to drive it all the time. Should even get better in town mileage than before.
