Question: Should I change my lights and meshes to black (like in my photoshops) or leave them chrome? Tell me what you think!

Current Engine Pictures, Page Updated April 20, 2008

My engine is completely stock for now, haven't really put much thought into it. Of course, the full exhaust system is in store. But for now, I just clean it occasionally, and I added a short ram intake I got from Ebay.

Now the engine gets the air it deserves, so the car runs much better, and I can tell that there is HP gain (especially when accelerating). Plus, the bassy growl at higher RPMs is awesome, too. This is definitely a mod everyone should do! It was so easy to install, plus it came with everything, and there was a spot for the air temp sensor. The metal brace holds the accelerator and cruise control (if you have it) pipes in place. I do not need the blue vacuum hose.

It makes a big difference all year. In the winter, it really adds a nice boost. In the summer (when it is really hot), it seems to slow it down. This is because it sucks hot engine air all year, which is good when it is cold, but bad when it is hot. A cold air intake would be better, or maybe a heat shield. Anyways, it adds a really nice sound from under the hood, as opposed to the really loud mufflers I always hear.
