This is the new box me and sam built for my 1230w. It sounds absolutly amazing, much louder than 1 12" L5 in a sealed box with an audiobahn a8000t!!!! It's insane!
This infinity sub and amp, and box materials cost me under $200.00!!!!!!

Getting ready to put polyfil in box. ( i used the sub in it before the polyfil and after and there was a very noticable difference in sound quality and deepness of bass!) I put about 1 inch loosley stuffed all around and when it was stuck in there with the spray adhiesive, i hit a second layer of spray on it so the fibers wont fly out the vent!

I just threw it all in there for my drive to chicago, i'll make an amp rack for the kicker amp opposite from the rockford amp and i'tll look real good someday.... the rockford amp is just there for looks for now i guess, i bought this cheap ass infinity to tide me over untill i could afford a nice l7 for the rockford, but it'll take me at least a month to get bored of the fuckin loud asssss bass from the infinity, you'd have to hear it to belive it. :) :) :)

If you want to spend the time for it, you can do I true cold air intake by relocating your battery to the trunk (i'd suggest using 4 gauge wire running back from the pos. and neg. to a dis. block to the connections, insures optium power) then remove your stock battery tray (held in by 4 bolts, 13 mil. I believe it was), once you have that out all you'll really need to do is invest in a exhaust tube cutter (you can get one from most auto parts stores, and it's returnable for a return of a deposit). You'll need 2 45 degree angle pieces of 2.5" exhaust pipe, as well as 2 straight pieces of 2.5" exhaust piping, 2.5" - 2.5" cuouplers, and you can get a K&N filter to fit it. Take one of the 45 degree angles and use it to come off the throtle body, make sure to use that pipe cutter to get the hood clearance you'll need (several fittings might be in order), then cut one of the straight pieces down to 9" and attach the other 45 degree angle to it, and use the last straight piece to drop down into the front of the car. Once you are happy with the fitment of everything (make sure you test fit with the filter) use those couplers and some exhaust clamps, as well as alittle sealent if you feel it'll benefit from it and reinstall the finished product. It's an overly dramatic increase in power but it will defanitely help. For extra heat sheilding, you can use header wrap. And, if you do, make sure to soak it in warm water before hand, cuts down on itching and allows you stretch it a bit more, so when it dries, it's a nice, tight, fit. Hope this helps alittle, if you have any questions just drop me a line on my page, and good luck! Latah.

I noticed that you wanted to do some cheap mods to your neon. Do you have a Manual Trans and is it a SOHC or a DOHC. Let me know and I can hook you up.
