The Beginnings of My 351 Swap in My 1991 Ford Explorer
This is the test mule for the project. My salt laiden daily driver.
The 351 Windsor I've been preparing. I've used a Professional Products intake manifold to retain EFI and Mustang parts for the swap.
The left side header clearance to steering shaft is going to be tight. Luckily I had a pair of MAC shorty 351 mustang conversion headers lying around. It'll be tight but should clear.
The right side will need a slight trimming on the frame rail to clear the header flange.
