I would like to say thank you for coming to see our 1995 Eagle Talon FWD TSi. This was a Esi at onetime but we have done some work since we started this page to promote our work. We started the Ralli Art Talon in 2003. We are creating a car that has All Mitsubishi Performance Parts and more.
We have created a clean sleek look slash concept car that Chrysler should of done when they came out with this car. We are proud to be able to create a car that is fast but light and has great handling.
The first thing we did to the car was the internal engine build. We added new Pistons, Valves and springs, Crower Cams, Skunk 2 Cam Gears, new racing rocker arms, and bored it out just enough that it could handle the turbo we wanted.
Months later we got a Ralli Art oil catch can and AEM fuel filter. A front mount oil cooler and a Greddy FMIC. We threw on some 650cc Fuel injectors from Delon Mitsubishi and put that on a OBX intake manifold w/AEM fuel rail. I stopped working on the engine for a month.
I started working on the outside because I saw that this car was going to have all this horse power and I didn't want STS to keep replacing my tires and Chucks rebuilding my drivetrain. So we took the tranny to Chuck Anglin's and Ken the owner rebuilt the tranny w/racing gears and bearing parts from Japan. Few weeks after having that built Ken got the Centerforce Clutch which was a Dual Friction w/ a lightened Fly wheel. Ken redid all the bushings in the car so they would be new and I didn't have to worry about failure later on.
I bought Suspension techs sway bars for both front and back. For extra support added Carbon Fiber strut tower braces and lower strut tower brace. Eibach has great springs so we went w/racing springs to handle corners better. We just added Tein shocks w/the EDFC control kit and strut kit.
A few months later and yes between all this still working on the engine we rebuilt the stopping power. We got Baer Calipers and Brembo cross drilled rotors. We redid the brake lines. I went to the local hard ware store and picked up some aluminum hose that flexed and cut holes in the fender guard and ran it to the calipers for quicker cooling and to save on the life span of them too.
6 months later.. YES 6 MONTHS later we put the kit on that was in my garage for 1 year. I was tired of looking at it so I took it to the shop I started working on it for school credit and put it on.. I took the roof and added a buddy club roof scoop since it does what is suppose to. We added the roof scoop to force the car down but did not want it to slow the car down in any way.
I liked the Angel eye headlights and the CF tail lights by APC so got some and they look awesome. Put hood locks on it and called it good for the outside for now.
So please vote for my next project for fun. Please feel free to sign my guest book and tell me what you think and put me on your friends list. I will get back at you and check your ride out.
Objective: To build the nicest but lightest Talon. Plus give it that whomping 400+ HP.
