I inherited this car from my brother in 1982 and have been driving it ever since. Although I have another car, I still drive this car regularly 70 miles round trip to work and back home. Currently it has almost 290K miles on the original engine, valve head and carburetor. I'm on my 3rd clutch and 2nd tranny (rebuilt @ around 170K miles).
I did a "vanity" search on the internet to see if any pics of my car showed up and I found these. Mine is right on the crease in this issue of "Banzai" magazine. Anybody know where I can get an copy?
Here's one in japanese. I don't read japanese so for all I know they could be saying that "this is a poor example of a TE51". Who knows.
Here's one from "Import Racer" magazine. I think I might acually have this issue some where. My car is in two places in this spread. Wow!!
