A couple new shots. The motor is out, and I've been filling the holes underhood and prepping it for paint. I'm going to keep it simple and clean, and once it's sprayed, the motor will start going back in.

When you start out on a project, you really think long term. My long term lasted six months. I decided to settle down, and my 2003 Mustang Cobra was a bit to much for my future wife at the time, so we sold it. I got a house out of the deal, and a project to work on. Unfortunately, six month into it.... a garage fire destroyed the entire project.

So back to the drawing board. I had all the parts sitting around for a Fox Body Mustang, but no platform. I searched autotrader looking for a 5.0L 5 Speed Mustang, any year or body style would work (well, except for a convertable). The picture hadn't even been uploaded on the ad yet when I found this one. I bought the car site unseen... the guy thought I was nuts.

So her she was, waiting for me to start work. The car had 160k on the ODO. The motor ticked and the rear main seal leaked. A fat chick had owned car previous to the last owner... causing the car to lean to the right. That had to be fixed. The only modification the car had was tint and the Cobra R rims. That would change over the year of the build.
