Hello all.
This is my 1976 Austin Mini 1000 Deluxe. Its a New Zealand car that I imported back in October. So far I've had a multitude of engine problems but hope to get them sorted out soon so I can get it on the road. Anyone else out there who is a mini-freak give me a shout. I'd like to get a sort of support group going that can help eachother with our great little cars.

Another angle of the brick. I have a few dents to repair but thank god there is no rot. I couldn't weld if my life depended on it!

My interior. I like having that central speedo setup and yes it is in KPH. I'm going to create a small placard with equivalent MPH speeds so I'm not doing mental math going down the road. That could end in a bad way.

This is the reason for my immobility. The head is getting checked out at the local machine shop. I hope I don't have to rebuild this sucker. Its a bone stock 998. I'm thinking of converting it to unleaded if the cost isn't prohibitive.
