A Little bit of polish
Sound Deadening
To properly do it you have got to seal the subwoofer in the door. Aside from that the item has to be mounted to a non reverberating panel, that wont color the music. To accomplish this i used two layers of 3/4 mdf, siliconed to the door and machined screwed. From there I utilized 55 SQ ft in the two door panels of dynamat extreme. The mdf was then fiberglassed with a 50/50 mix of kitty hair and resin, and backed with damping mat to create an enclosure for the speaker between the open door and the channel the window rolls down into. From there it was just dynamat whatever resonated after the first coat. I used 1/4 inch plexi to seal the access panels, and molded it with a heat gun to get a basic flat panel to adhere without mad machina screws. from there like i said I put my Edead Roller to work, tubed off the pullers and went for broke. Will be moving to the trunk and rear deck more in depth. I have about 20 feet between the two of these panels, as well as some expanding foam in the trunk lid.
