Page 3-Amplification
Needless to say starting in my last car I went through alot of setups (6 10w6s at one point, 4 12w6s on two orion hccas, zapco monoblocks, to four type rs), in this one I want to get it right, get it done, and keep it playing even with the car off.

So far My search has lead me to mmats(2x 100dhc's, mtx 2x 1501ds, Pioneer GMX 924, Fosgate Power 800x4,2xPower 800x2, BD1000), and back home to orion and JL audio (6450 6 channel for the front stage, 1501d for the single sub).

My current setup has changed once again.

The runner ups?

Im using the RM4 module to run the passive rear channels to my kickpanels and the fronts are running to the mid woofers in the doors. The mono channel is still unused and im considering running a center channel and adding in rear fill since i have space. I went ahead and did a false floor behind the drivers seat and vented it with a cpu fan to the front, hopefully enough to keep it cool. No problems as of yet.

As the amplifier was nice, but didnt have as many features as I would have liked I opted for a larger 604x along with an xtant crossover tuners kit. This provides all the necessary sips to bandpass the frequencies internally in the amplifier that I could need, and along with the new radio (Eclipse 8455) I should be set. The 604 is a Monster in comparison to my 403 so i havent worked location yet...

In retrospect this amp is 23 inches in length...I do have the balanced line inputs as well as the tuning kit so i should be set with no external processing needed.
THe pictures of the 1001d will be posted upon its arrival...
