Let Me Know What you think of my ride! Thanks
This is an original 1970 Ford Torino Super Cobra Jet 429. Originally it was Grabber blue it was painted red about 25 years ago (the last restoration). It is one of 150 cars produced in 1970 that had the dragpack, black interior and were grabber blue. The car was purchased in 2002. The owner did not want to sell the car but was forced because his wife got a new Z-28. When the car was purchased it had a 428 cobra Jet motor out of a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang, it also had hooker headers and 3 chamber Flowmasters. In late 2003 the car was sent out to have the correct motor put back in it. The motor box was repainted black, stock exaust manifolds were put back on it and it has the 3 chamber Flowmasters.
These cars Were rated at 375 horsepower, but that is a low estimate. This car is equipped with 3.91 posi rearend

Sweet Torino!! Do you use a car cover for it? If so, where did you get yours? A friend of mine just inherited his fathers 70 Torino and is looking for a cover. His father bought this car new off the lot back in 1970 so it is very sentimental to my friend. I've told him to try Year One, Laysons and Paddock but they don't carry one. Thanks & take care :)
