SWEET! My first car was a 1970 Mercury Montego MX Brougham fastback. Had a little 302 with a blown headgasket and was rusted through in many spots, but I loved the hell out of that car. I pained me to sell it. The next owner also converted it into a Cyclone. Last time I saw the car, it was in Waterloo, Iowa. It was white with a burgundy interior and hide-a-way headlights. My dad still has a 1971 Cyclone GT with a 351 Cleveland that I put together when I was 15; he also has the 70 Cyclone Spoiler 429, 70 GT Cleveland, 70 Cyclone 429, 71 Montego MX Brougham Sedan, and 70 Torino 429 Cobra Jet. Then he got bored and started collecting 63 1/2 Galaxies and 77 - 79 Thunderbirds. You've got a great car, don't ever let it go!

Gotta love it. I drove one in high school back in '82 & 83. If you ever come across my old VIN #0H16H515599 that was it and let me know; I'd love to know where it is these days. 5 stars for the memories.
