This is my 1994 4 Door S10 Blazer, the last year for the first gen body style for this truck (the pickups changed to the 2nd gen style in 1994) The rig has always been in my family; we bought it new in the winter of '93 and consequently it only has 51,xxx miles on it. This is a picture of it stock in the winter of '05:

So far, I have:
Installed an Alpine head unit with four new Xplod speakers (too lazy to dig up model numbers) Two way 4"x6" in the dash, three way 6 1/4" in the rear doors. I didn't want subs because I'd rather have the cargo capacity.

Installed a President Jackson CB with Para Dynamics frequency counter and K40 antenna. I built a custom enclosure from maple plywood to house the gear and mounted it on the stock tray that was attatched to the tranny hump. I picked up the electronics at a garage sale for $10, which is quite a steal because the radio alone costs $250 on the street.

Installed custom Homelink transmitter in the overhead console (three buttons in half moon cover as shown below) This year was never offered with a Homelink so I decided to buy one off of Ebay and install it myself. Best of all, it was only $20 and it looks stock. It is basically a programmable RF transmitter that you can set to open your garage door.

Ventvisors-This truck has no rain gutters to this is a must.

Custom seat rail extenders to move driver's seat back 2". I am 6'4" so the stock position was kinda tight for me; I simply fabbed them up from some 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" steel angle and bolted 'em on.

Repaired rot in the bottom of the doors with new filler panels. Almost every first gen Blazer I have seen on the street has this rot problem. I glued them on instead of welding so I didn't have to take off the body molding.

In the future, I will be installing:

2" Superlift with 31"x10.5" Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires on stock rims

White face reverse glow guages

Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow muffler

Lund SunVisor

The following pages will document the lift kit installation as well as the guage face and visor installation:
