THE BEAST

FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO SIGN MY GUESTBOOK TO RUN THEIR MOUTH ABOUT SOMETHING THEY DON"T KNOW, STOP DOING IT !!! THESE PEOPLE KNOW WHO THEY ARE AND I'LL POST MY REPLIES TO THEIR GUESTBOOK. I WILL ALSO POST WHAT I THINK OF THEIR COMMENT ON MY PAGE AND LEAVE THEIR COMMENT ON MY GUESTBOOK!!!
I own a 2004 Jeep TJ Rubicon. This Jeep started it's life out rough and it just keeps getting rougher for the BEAST. I've owned the Jeep for about 8 months now and since then It's received about $3,000.00 in upgrades. The first thing I did to the jeep was make a custom bumper which I've already managed to tweek. Then I ordered the X-series suspension from Rough Country which claims 6 inches of lift and ended up getting 8 inches out of it!!!(This kit requires no cutting or welding and can be completed in a day). With the new lift, my Jeep required either a tranfer case drop or a CV driveshaft. I decided on the CV driveshaft, because I didn't believe in losing valuable inches due to a tranfer case drop. The whole point to a lift is to get the maxium clearance that can be possibly achieved and a transfer case drop just isn't the way to go! I tested the new suspension and put it through hell and back with no problems. I paid 1,500.00 for suspension lift and CV driveshaft conversion, which was worth every penny and reconmend looking into Rough Country's products. I ended up driving around on stock 31 inch tires for about 4 1/2 months till I was able to save enough money to buy my tires. After much research, I decided on the GoodYear MTRs due to their awesome all around rating and good wear characteristics. Rough Country states that their 6 inch X-series can clear 36 inch tires, but I've always believed bigger is better and went with the 37 inch MTRs on a 15x10 Black steel wheels. They ended up costing me $1200.00 for rims, tires, mount and balance, and a set of lugs. I bought the tires from Pungo off-road due to the quaity service and best price, beating the nearest compition buy $300.00. I also re-wired my lockers so I can use them in any transfer case setting, which allows me to get better wheel spin to clean the mud out of the tires (every Rubicon comes stock with air lockers front and rear). I've also done a couple other minor modifcations to the Jeep's communication and lighting systems. I've installed KC Day Lighters and a CB radio for commuication on the trails, these Mods set me back about $300.00, but once again worth every penny!! Well That's about it on the history of my Jeep AKA BEAST, hope you enjoyed the info and if you have any questions or know of any good trails within 3 or 4 hours of Virginia Beach area feel free to email me at Joey011582@yahoo.com
