What we have here is one 1991 Mazda B2200 in need of some good ole backyard, shadetree mechanics!...Hummm lets start with getting rid of the 2.2L Mazda engine and the trans and go with a 4.3L V6 Chevy Motor....

Well the Mazda is underway.....motor and trans is out.....Chevy 4.3L Engine is stripped down for clean up and rework the heads....Looking for a carb.....got the trans....ordering the B&M shifter, headers, cat, muffler, and got to get the driveshaft cut and welded!.....can't wait to tear into some little rice burner!!!HEHEHE.....Thats going to be fun....

Actually, I made plates (1/2 plate steel) drilled out the bolt holes and bolted them to the engine mounts from the orig.. motor

Great work! Little truck + big engine = lots of fun! I built an 87 Mitsu/Dodge D50 with a Mopar 318 a few years ago and it was a blast. A friend of mine'll sell me a Mazda like yours with a bad engine for cheap and I have a 440/727 in the garage......hmmmm
