My red Mustang . . . . $500
My white Mustang . . . . $1000
Fixing my white Mustang . . . . $Depressing
Being Fucked On Race Day . . . . Priceless
This is me and my 1966 Mustang. First I would like to note that the list of mods on the sidebar are the planned mods as of now. They may change in the near future. See bottom of page for more detailed info. And, with that out of the way, here is a small list of the things that are wrong with it.
1, It has The Cancer. There are several rust spots, all easily repairable, except, the one on the drivers door above the handle, which has rusted all the way through the door. (UPDATE: 1-07) Cancer is stage 3. Irreversible. Complete panels need to be removed and replaced. One hood hinge bolt rusted thru, so a small patch panel is needed there.
2, Severe electrical problems. Wiper moter does not work, blinkers do not work, the back-up lights do not work, and no stereo.
3, Front windshield cracked, front and rear windows leak, D/S and P/S windows need new regulators.
4, Interior needs to be stripped and competely replaced. (UPDATE: 1-07) Will be completing the stripping come spring when the weather warms up some. All that is left is the removal of everything behind the dash and the wiring harness.
5, The front P/S strut is blown out, and the rear D/S air shock doesn't hold any air.
6, There is no passenger seat belt. Now I'm probably missing something, but why are there seatbelts in the back and drivers seat but not in the passenger seat!?!
7, Minor (looking) accident damage in front end and on P/S rear fenderwell. (UPDATE: 1-07) Looking was the right word to use there. It's more extensive than it LOOKS.
8, Last, but definately not least, the 200ci straight six does not put out enough power.
If there is anyone out there who wants to convert a straight 6 to a V8, check out the link on the side of the page. It has everything you need to know to get 'er done!
Here she is doing a mock Ricer pose. She'll look better soon.
Once the snow melts over here and I get some free time, I am going to start the tear down process and post pictures so all of you can follow along in times of progress and times of getting the wrong god damn part and wanting to kick the shit outta the good for nothing pizza-faced kid who didn't check the friggin stock number to make sure it was right!! Ahh, I feel better already. And you can bet your bottom dollar I will have pics of every scratch, cut, gouge, laceration, bruise, and severed finger along the way!
PLANNED UPGRADES: full body kit (www.mustangdepot.com), Tri-bar high intensity cool blue headlights, Dr. Gas functional side exaust, Pez dispenser in dashboard, front and rear Grab-A-Trac suspension, front disc brake conversion (CSRP), 9" rear with disc brakes, back seat fish tank, billet taillamp covers, sequential blinkers, body stregnthening kit, pop-up lava lamp in the console, slapper bars, export and monty carlo bars, brushed aluminum 6-gauge cluster panel and glove box, blow-up doll in trunk, chrome bullit side view mirrors, seats, Pioneer nav/CD, complete custom entertainment system, PS12 for passenger, custom built, 302 complete build including heads, pistons, intake manifold, crank, cam, pullies, headers, ect., ect.
