My Car

This is my 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra. Currently my mods are:
Bassani X-pipe with stainless steel matrix cats
Bassani cat-back exhaust
9" Cold Air Intake
Steeda strut tower brace
Steeda subframe connectors
Steeda IRS braces
Carbon-graphite COBRA inserts with chrome outline
Goodyear GS-D3 tires 285/40 R17's (now replaced)
In case you are infamiliar with the 2003 Cobra, these cars come with the independant rear suspension, 4.6L DOHC with the roots-type supercharger giving it over 400 hp straight from the factory (Ford under-rated the HP at 390, they are typically around 425 HP stock the crank). New for 2003 is the Tremec T-56 six speed manunal transmission.

Daytime Nightime
These are a couple of things that were unique to the first run cobras. These were cobras from 06/02 to 11/02. I believe the cargo net and the A-pillars like the "GT" mustangs were both omitted from the second run and on. New A-pillars were wider and more angulated.

To your left: These are leather seats with suade inserts. If you look closely you can see the Cobra embroidered in the center. To your right: These are the Goodyear GS-D3's mounted on the stock chrome 17" x 9" rims. They were great tires, but did not last long, even under normal driving. While I had them, they were a great grippy tire, wet or dry. I moved on to a higher mileage tire when I had to start driving the car everyday.

An upclose look at the carbon-fiber in the inserts. I love them. The company that made them went out of business in 2004. I can't remember when I have seen another cobra with them.

My snake's contribution to the fight on terrorism. Everyone likes big tips!
