I purchased my 99 TA on Feb 9th of 2005. It has just about all the options. It had 44,000 miles on it, grey leather interior, T-tops, and traction control. I have had F-Bodies in the past but never one this new. I really wanted to get one with the LS1 engine. My friend saw this one on the internet at a dealership in Milwaukee. We went down there, took it for a drive and signed the contract to buy it.

I took it to Great Lakes Dragaway on 4-2-05. I only ran it once because I didn't feel like waiting another hour for a run. Here is my slip with a 13.1@105mph That's with headers, exhaust and a lid. I should be running a little better than I did. I might possibly have been running in low octane mode which would have cut my timing..

Here I ran a 9.46@116mph That's with a 150hp shot of nitrous. I think the computer messed up on that run. My best time so far is a 12.2@116mph. That mph is good for mid-11 second passes with a good torque converter and ET Street tires. I just got my converter in so we will see how it does.
