Update 01/03/05
It's been a while since and update and thats because of the general lack of things happening. I have installed a new Richbrook gearnob and tax disk holder out of bordem. The new gearnob has also lowered the shift quite a lot (2.5") making shifting much quicker and easier. The pug is going in to the new headgasket and heater matrix tomorrow and will be off the road for 2-3 days!

Update 25/02/05
Ok ok, I know I said a new headunit was on it's way soon. Cancel that because the service turned up a cracked head gasket and a leaking heater matrix... All in all about ?200 worth of wallet crunching damage. So the headunit will have to wait. Soon expect photo's of the steam cleaned engine bay (before and after).

Update 19/02/05
I have picked up the car and taken it for a drive and it really is quick. It pulls all through the rev range, which is going to result in many speeding tickets! In the photo's you can see the car on my driveway and the interior, sporting a nice air freshner (about the only good thing in Halfords).

The car is going in for a full service and an engine steam clean on Thursday so it's 100% mechanically sound. Only two things to fix on the car, so far. The drivers side seat is loose and slides back when driving agressively (DANGEROUS!) and the left fog light needs replacing. Coming soon nice shiney engine and headunit.
