Speed Density(SD) to Mass Air Flow(MAF) Conversion:

After removing and disconnecting the EEC-IV processor from the paasenger side kick panel, slide out enough of the harness to drill a hole thru. Be careful no to drill into any of the wires.

Run MAF wire harness thru hole drilled in main harness grommet and reinstall.

This is just one of the (2) MAF signal wires that are soldered, shrunk wrapped and plugged into the 60 pin connector. I don't have any photos of the EEC pins, but pulled them out of a used 60 pin connector. Otherwise you have to go the the dealer and buy them.

This is the power wire for the MAF meter. I removed a section of the insulation and soldered in the power wire.

These (2) wires are for VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor). I spiced into the signal wires under the seat near the fuel pump relay. Since you have to splice into the fuel pump anyway, it was easier to run the wiring from there to the EEC processor.

This wire is soldered in to the power side of the fuel pump relay which sends a signal to the EEC.

This is the EEC-IV connector with all the necessary wire added, changed, and spliced into.

The seats and center console needed to be removed to run the wires from the fuel pump realy and VSS wires. At the very minimum you need to remove the driver side seat to access and run the fuel pump wires. You can access the VSS wires at the driver side kick panel and run the fuel pump wire and VSS wires up through and across the dash.
