The latest things from Toyota Racing Development appear to be good. Recently they have been going back to the older year model of make the Supra MKIII. It's the 7M-GTE motor not the JZ motor of the MKIV series. Over the years they slowed production of the aftermarket setup of parts distribution. The reason for this is profit margins are deployed but not met back to, in other words they put the money in another category of distribution or so to call it "branch".
TRD stand for Toyota Racing Development. I work on high performance motors for cars, mainly turbocharged cars. The auto shop is located in El Cerrito California called: Rob's Automotive

For more information on turbos and upgrade kits. Any vehicle can be equipped with an turbo driving unit. One of the main causes of putting your car under a heavy operating load of torque is pressure. Including operating your car at high rpm's don't be surprised.
There is one modification that must be done to you Supra. The stock housing to the intake whistles, now, I say needs to be upgraded with and universal intake. Performance mods done to the chassis and drive-train are not needed. If you have a stick it is necessary to upgrade with a stage 2 or 3 clutch disk.
Turbo upgrades are quite expensive, in fact, are the best upgrade you can do to your vehicle. No way are they compatible with the 2000 and up vehicles for you will need to get an upgrade to the ECU also known as the cars computer.
The fuel injection equipped on the referencing ECU data are around $1,500 in order for that upgrade.
Furthermore, It has been on non-operational for street racing and a numerous amount of ticket from the local police department. If you are looking to upgrade your vehicles turbo, when you take it to the shop I work for you have to ask for me. Otherwise we can talk it out on upgrading. Like I said before I intend on upgrading the turbo but must have a good candidate for the CT-26 flange. I heard the hybrids are looking good from Greddy and as a matter of fact would advertise a T3/T4 turbo for the flange hookup.
