Permanent LCD Install
To be honest, I hate the dash. It drives me crazy. Seriously, it feels like it should be installed in a VW Beetle or something.
As you can see from the picture, the Dash is my #1 enemy, and I have ripped the center dash cover out.
This was my look at potential fabricating a new dash part. In the end, I decided it wasn't my time to begin custom fabricating dashes.
Here are some pics from a couple different angles. Let's call this Franken-Dash since it's in such an unfinished state.
As you can see from the pictures, 2 of the 5 air vents are covered up. This will mean permanently capping them leaving me with 3 working air vents. It's a decent trade-off. You would dump the annoying dash and trade 2 vents for 1 screen.
