Engine Work
Car didn't even have the stay spring, so I bought a chromed one.
First we had to start with engine tear down. It started with taking off the clutch.

Next came off the exhaust. The Flywheel.
Crank Pulley was rather tough, we bent the crap out of it while taking it off.
Also here's the beginning of the pile of parts.
Next we took off the Fanhousing, with the generator and Ignition Coil attached. Then the intake manifolds.
Next we went easy and took the wiring off. Also heres another picture of the parts pile.
Carbeurator came off easy with a simple 2 bolts and then a little prying action. An almost pointless addition was the Distributor Cap and Plug wires, they were just in the way so we took them off next.
Next to come off was the generator stand, which was easy. But all the gunk on the seal below it was deisgusting! Then the Fuel Pump was almost the same thing.
So we could see how everything worked, and the quality of everything we took off the sheet metal that covered the cylinders next.

The Distributor was the toughest because we had to find a way to turn the crank without the pulley or flywheel on, so we put the crank pulley bolt back in and turned it.

Valve Covers - Simple. Rocker Arms - 2 Bolts ea.
I don't even know what the next thing is called, but its some kind of heat dissipation module, in a computer its called a heat sink. haha.

Next came the heads, and they were in suprisingly good condition. Then the cylinders, were gettin down to the fun stuff!
Pistons Off. Oil Pump Cover off.
Alot of parts:
Painted and Put together Fan Shroud. Engine Painted with new tins.

Engine Mounted and almost fully put back together.
