Well I sold this car. It was a fun car and I have enjoyed it the short time I have had it but I got an offer I couldn't pass up and decided to pass it on to another Maxima enthuist that will drive the car to its full potential.

This is a page for my 92SE. I have had a few 3rd gen Maximas but this is by far my favorite. Here is a link to my 93SE that I am still trying to finish and sell

I got this car from a friend of mine in Florida. He bought it for $300 from a guy that was just going to crush it because the motor was blown. I went down to FL with another frind of mine Craig Brace to get the car and do a motor swap. We got the motor from my friend I got the car from as well because he had a spare VE from his old wrecked car. Long story short we swapped the motor to the 5spd but also did the major things to the motor that usually fail on a VE. We rebuilt the VTCs, replaced all the exhaust studs, replaced the knock sensor, replaced all the seals, and just did a general clean up of the whole motor.

The end result is a really good running VE5spd that I got for dirt cheap.

I really owe David (the guy I got the car from) and want to thank him for letting me get the car, his hospitality while working on it at his house and for just being a good friend.

I also want to thank Craig for his help and company on that long trip down to FL to get the car the trip home and also for being a good friend as well.

Without these two working so hard that long weekend we wouldn't have finished it up so quickly.

I am in the process of swapping all my good stuff over to it from the 93 and then will sell the 93 (after paint) stock.

So far I have swapped the springs, all new suspension parts, new recovered seats, Kenwood headunit, smoothed and painted interior pieces, CAI, FSTB and basically all the small new parts I put on the 93 (suspension bushings, brakes, rotors etc.).

Performance:
-Polished aluminum CAI
-Intrax springs
-Otto FSTB
-ST sway bar set
-Stillen (Brembo) X drilled rotors
-Custom fit 4th gen STS

Styling:
-Full Stillen body kit
-18x7 Ro_Ja Formula 5 wheels (painted silver by me :) )
-UK corners
-Headlights with the corner painted to look similar to the AE Maxima. This helps match the UK corners until I install my BMW lights
-Recovered leather seats (Katzkin leather)
-AE shift knob
-Ichibahn e-brake handle that matches AE shift knob
-New leather boot for the shifter
-Leather boot for the e-brake
-AE Pedals
-350Z dead pedal
-ACC (auto climate control) conversion
-HUD (heads up display)

Short term plans:
-Install black leather door inserts or paint the tweed that is in there
-Install my amp and MB Quarts

Future plans:
-Aluminum flywheel
-Upgraded clutch
-UDP
-Blehmco suspension parts
-Big brake kit
-Shave antenna, install my doors I smoothed the door handles on, slick the rest of the body and paint
-Install projectors and make them flush (and sealed) like my old BMW lights

-And of course I have to put in the one thing that I would love to do but will probably never attempt...install a turbo...that would be far off into the future even if I did attempt it lol.

I will update the page as I do each upgrade.

Here is the car when I first got it after towing it home from Florida:

Gotta love the Type "R" bumper Craig put on for me :) :

Here is the car after getting it disconnected from the truck and washing it (I hid the fact I didn't have the front bumper on yet):
